Local FFA Students Heading to Nationals in Fall

Placed first in the dairy category; will now represent entire state in national Future Farmers of America competition.

Over the weekend, the Petaluma Future Farmers of America dairy team took first place at the state finals, held at Cal State University, San Luis Obispo. Now they'll be heading to FFA's national competition in Indianapolis this October, where they will be representing the entire state.

Future Farmers of America focuses on building leadership, communication skills and teamwork through agricultural experiences and prepares youth for careers in agriculture.
