End Crony Politics Vote for Marc Levine

End politics as usual.

Marc Levine is the man. We need to end crony politics. The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) fined Mr. Allen $3,000 in 2011. The FPPC found that Allen, an attorney and former district coordinator for state Sen. Pat Wiggins, a Santa Rosa Democrat, voted to change the city’s general plan while he was under contract to a county agency to work on behalf of that change. Allen called the fine, which he did not contest, “fair.” Nevertheless, he reiterated statements he made earlier that his actions were inadvertent. Wow, inadvertent actions by an attorney? “I just wish the public would understand that it was an innocent mistake,” Mr. Allen said. “I learn from my mistakes. I know if there is ever a question in my mind in the future, I’m going to be working closely with attorneys to make sure I understand the issue.” Wow, an attorney will work closely with other attorneys to not be in violation of conflict of interest? How many attorneys does that take? On top of this, Allen’s chief of staff, Sean MacNeil, has had his own issues with the FPPC. He failed to report income he received in 2007 from Wiggins’ campaign committee. They have a lot in common. Also look at who has voiced support. Judy Arnold, Mr Huffman, etc. Vote for Marc Levine and end crony politics, it is time.
