OVER 100 FAMILIES IN PETALUMA ARE DEPENDING ON IT!

There are many bigger and more aggressive organizations seeking to win the $45,000 grant from Walmart this April. But very few are as resourceful, innovative and effective as the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Our Harvest Pantry mobile food pantry travels to meet 125 families with young children every week in the Petaluma area… families who don’t have access to a food pantry or to fresh produce regularly. These pre-school age children are especially vulnerable to the effects of malnutrition, which affects their growth and ability to learn. Proper nutrition at this stage is critical and has developmental effects that last a lifetime.
