St. Vincent Baseball Season is Over After Loss to Head Royce

St. Vincent traveled to Head Royce in Oakland Friday afternoon and lost the quarterfinal game of the NCS tournament by the score of 10-0 in five innings. Senior Max Cowell was the losing pitcher of record after giving up 6 hits. The most costly statistic of the game was the defense of the Mustangs committing 5 errors behind Cowell. Also, the bats of the Mustangs were quiet mustering only 3 total hits including one each by Cowell, Joe Purtell, and Nick Vollert. St. Vincent finishes the season with a 17-9 overall record.
