St. Vincent Volleyball Takes Over 1st Place In League

The Varsity volleyball team scored an impressive win over Roseland Prep to take over 1st place in the NCL II league. The Mustangs were clearly ready to play as reflected in the game scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-19. Leading the team onto victory were Brooke Montgomery with 11 kills, 9 aces; Sarah Calabrese with 5 kills; Hannah Sarlatte with 6 skills and 9 assists; Ali Fetter with 12 assists; and Izzy Velez with 8 digs. There are 4 remaining matches in the season with Sonoma Academy and Rincon Valley providing a tough test for the Mustangs. A strong finish will be needed by the team to secure the championship before heading to the playoffs.

The JV team played a tough match vs. Roseland Prep but lost 25-21, 18-25, 11-15.
