1. The Petaluma Target Store held its Grand Opening on Sunday and will be open for its first full week. The approximately 135,000-square-foot store on Kenilworth Drive and East Washington Street is Sonoma County's third Target store.
2. The Wednesday Evening Farmers' Market in Downtown will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The outdoor market features farm-fresh produce, children's entertainment, crafts and prepared foods.

3. The Petaluma River Exhibit addresses the city's complicated relationship with the waterway. Changing Courses: The History and Future of the Petaluma River will be held from Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
4. The Petaluma Music Festival featuring a wide variety of music genres for all ages will be held from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds and Event Center.
