The Great Petaluma Treasure Hunt

Itching for a little friendly competition? Want to help support Petaluma’s most treasured event? Assemble your teams, mark your calendars, and prepare to exercise your brains!

On Saturday, August 18th (2-5pm) The Petaluma Downtown Association and Mastermind Treasure Hunts present a great afternoon of outdoor adventure and puzzle-solving benefitting the Butter & Egg Days Parade, one of the community’s most beloved events. Like the parade itself, The Great Petaluma Treasure Hunt is a great opportunity for all ages to participate in a community event.

We'll supply the map and clues, all you need to bring are your wits, sturdy shoes, and a sense of adventure. Teams of 4-8 solve the clues and find their way from parks, to landmarks, to often-overlooked spots, racing to see who will be the first to finish and win.  It’s like a cross between The Da Vinci Code and The Amazing Race!

First, second and third place prizes are awarded to teams the best time and most correct answers. Prizes will also be awarded to the best Butter & Eggs Days themed costume and the best team name.

Live entertainment and an awards ceremony in Theatre Square after the hunt round out a full day of fun in downtown Petaluma.
