Help Feed the Needy This Thanksgiving

A can here, a box of stuffing there make a world of a difference

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, with the usual plethora of food and drink. Yet for many Petaluma families, turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and other traditional treats are too expensive.

Last year, Petaluma Salvation Army distributed 150 boxes of food and will be doing the same this year. Can you chip in? Needed items include:

- Turkeys
- Cans of green beans
- Cans of corn
- Packages of stuffing
- Instant gravy mixes
- Cans of chopped black olives
- Cans of chicken broth
- Coffee
- Cranberry sauce
- Cans of yams
- Marshmallows
- Instant Potatoes
- Foil Pans
- Boxes of cereal
