Highway 101 Road Work Starting Monday

Sonoma-Marin Narrows project will widen Highway 101 from four to six lanes

 

Caltrans is  planing lane closures in each direction of Highway 101 as it begins the Petaluma portion of the Sonoma-Marin Narrows project this week. The project is widening the freeway from four to six lanes, replacing several freeway interchanges and replacing two Petaluma bridges.

All construction will occur at night to minimize disruptions. Check out the scheduled work below:

Northbound U.S. 101: Monday night through Thursday night, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Friday night from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Saturday night from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. 

Southbound U.S. 101: Monday night through Thursday night, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., Friday night from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., and Saturday night from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. 

Highway 101/Eastbound SR 116 interchange: Monday night through Thursday night, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Friday and Saturday nights, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

Highway 101/Westbound SR 116: Monday night through Thursday night, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
