Petaluma Bounty Event Featuring Gardening Expert, Plant Sale

Wendy Krupnick will head a winter garden workshop.

The Petaluma Bounty will host a Fall Plant Sale and Harvest Party on Saturday featuring a local gardening expert and author.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Petaluma Bounty Community Farm (55 Shasta Avenue).

Wendy Krupnick will offer winter gardening tips during a workshop from 9 to 11 a.m.

A Bounty Fall Plant Sale will start at 11 a.m. and a Harvest Party will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

All plants will be sold for $2 to $4. Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) payments will be accepted for all plant purchases.

The Harvest Party will feature lunch and live music.

A $12 per- plate lunch featuring roasted lamb, vegetables, cheese, wine and dessert (visitors are asked to bring their own utensils) will start at noon.

The live musical performance will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. A complimentary tomato tasting will be held at the same time.

Bounty Farm volunteers will be honored during the lunch.
