A Purple Heart Ceremony will be at Walnut Park, on the corner of the boulevard and D street in Petaluma, Friday at 1:30 p.m.

A good turnout of veterans from all generations is expected for a group photo.
There will also be stories shared about the local men lost in combat in Korea and Vietnam, as well as city and state representatives on hand to recognize this designation.
