Saying Thanks to Local Military Families

United Service Organization of Northern California is offering free tickets to Sunday's NASCAR show at Infineon

The United Service Organization of Northern California wants to say 'thanks' to local military families by giving out  free tickets for Sunday's NASCAR event at the Infineon Raceway.

On Sunday, the course will host the Toyota/Save Mart 350 race, part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Infineon, PG&E and the USO of Northern California are partnering to offer hundreds of free tickets to the race for members of
the armed forces. The offer is available for active, reserve and retired military families.

The USO was formed to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel and their families, and relies on donations from individuals, organizations and corporations to support its programs.

Tickets are still available for the program, called "PG&E Tickets for Troops," USO spokesman Bryan Carmody said today. Military families can obtain tickets by emailing nascaruso@yahoo.com.

Doors open at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Infineon Raceway, located at 29355 Arnold Drive, Sonoma.
