This week, Mother of All Deals scoured our local sources to come up with great deals to help ease the stress of tax preparation, great local food to fill hungry bellies, and places to take the family to explore, create, and develop the mind. 1. Sonoma County Restaurant Week

2. Jennie Low’s 

, located in Theater Square in Petaluma, specializes in fresh traditional cuisine from the various regions of China including Catonese, Madarin, Szechuan and Hunan. They have recently added a “Light Creations” section to their menu offering new recipes as well as modifying customer’s favorites to offer lower fat choices.

3. H & R Block

4. Habitot Children’s Museum 

Habitot Children’s Museum, located in Berkeley, is an award winning children’s museum in the East Bay. The founders of Habitot created a hands-on play and creative learning center for young children to explore the arts and culture in a safe setting designed especially for them.

5. San Francisco Botanical Gardens 

Located in the heart of Golden Gate Park, the San Francisco Botanical Gardens offers over 50,000 plants of 8,000 varieties in 26 full gardens to explore with the whole family. Gardens are even based on geography and climate and specialty collections like the Ancient Plant Garden and Garden of Fragrance. There is even a Redwood Forest to explore.

6. Berkeley Playhouse Theater

Watch CS Lewis' classic tale, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe come to life on stage at one of the East Bay's newest theater houses. Children and adults alike will have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of live theater and music as they watch this spectacular production directed by Jon Tracy.

Not to mention we have been in a global cooling period for the last 12 years. Yet you continue with your environmental religion mantra. Unless you own the property you have no say in how it is used. Just like they question the science of climate change, the right-wingers funding the Drakes BayRead More Oyster Farm's effort to break their deal with the National Park Service now are questioning the peer-reviewed science that led to the decision to end the marine slime and plastic pollution from the corporation's operation. And hate to break it to the author, but Cause of Action is a right-wing funded legal (tax exempt of course) group that takes on conservative causes, such as this effort to overturn the Obama Administration's correct decision to enforce the deal the Lunny's made.

Parks and Recreation has a huge variety of summer camps. Kids Klub (1st-5th grade) and Camp K2Read More (6th-8th grade) are both traditional summer day camps with 1/2 day, daily and weekly options.
