Volunteers are needed to help put on the Tolay Fall Festival in mid-October. Volunteer opportunities may include helping with games and crafts, educational exhibits, hay rides, pumpkin patch visits and other aspects of this annual festival at Tolay Lake Regional Park near Petaluma. The Fall Festival runs Oct. 10-13 and Oct. 16-20, with volunteers especially needed on weekdays when hundreds of school children visit. Potential volunteers are asked to attend one of the following orientations and may sign up for volunteer shifts at that time.
Tolay Fall Festival Volunteer Orientations
- Thursday, Sept. 26 - 6 - 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept.28 - 10 - 11 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 5 - 10 - 11 a.m.

Orientations are held at Sonoma County Regional Parks' office near the County Administration Building. Volunteers will receive an annual parking pass, Fall Festival T-shirt and lunch during their shift. Last year's volunteers do not need to attend orientation.
