After you’ve spent a day or two wine tasting, how do you entertain your out-of-town guests?

According to travelers who post comments on TripAdvisor, the top attraction in Petaluma isn’t a beautiful hike or a trip to a winery, but a stop at the Petaluma Seed Bank.  The Seed Bank is located in a former bank on the corner of Petaluma Boulevard and East Washington Street.

Another top attraction is the Petaluma Historical Museum housed in the former city library.  The library was built with money donated by Andrew Carnegie.

Visitors also recommended hiking at Helen Putnam Park and Shollenberger Park and for evening entertainment, the Cinnabar Theater which currently has Family Drum Circles on Tuesdays and Fridays.  The theater opens its 41st season on September 6, 2013 with “The Pavilion”.
