Where to Beat The Heat in Petaluma

A cooling center will be open this week for residents to seek relief from temperatures that are expected to be in the 90s.

The Petaluma Community Center at 320 N. McDowell Blvd. will be open today through Thursday between noon and 9 p.m., Petaluma Fire Battalion Chief Phil Sutsos said.

Residents who are feeling ill and cannot make it to the center are urged to call 911, Sutsos said.
