Get inspired for your next outdoor adventure at the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival this Friday at the Mystic. Enjoy movies about high adrenaline skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, rock climbing, surfing and BASE jumping. Many of the segments are special edits including previews of films that have not been released. $15. Starts 7pm.

If you’re a rockabilly fan, you won’t want to miss the Jinx Jones band Saturday at Lagunitas. Music starts at 4:20pm. Free with purchase. 1280 N. McDowell Blvd.

In case you hadn’t heard, Sunday is the Super Bowl! Head to Taps for the pork ribs and Super Bowl specials like the $2 “bare bones” hot dogs, 50-cent buffalo wings and specials on pitchers of beer. On the Eastside, popular sports bar Beyond the Glory still has several tables left, so hit ‘em up if you want to join a raucous party.
