Butter & Egg Days Parade Closes 15 Downtown Petaluma Streets Saturday

The parade begins at noon, and police are advising people to arrive early and carpool to the downtown area.

Several streets in downtown Petaluma will be closed Saturday for the Butter and Egg Days Parade.

The parade begins at noon, and police are advising people to arrive early and carpool to the downtown area.

Some of the 15 street closures will start at 5 a.m.

On Sunday, the Fourth Street and Kentucky Street area between B  and Washington streets will be closed between 3 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. for the  Antique Fair.

During the Butter and Eggs Days event, alcohol will be sold and consumed only in the beer gardens on B Street between 4th Street and Petaluma Boulevard North and on Western Avenue between Kentucky Street and Petaluma Boulevard North.

Open containers of alcohol are prohibited outside those areas. No  alcohol may be brought to the event and public consumption of alcohol will  not be allowed.
