Classic Planes, Kayaking on Tomales Bay and More This Weekend

Check out what's happening in and around Petaluma over the next couple of days

 

Start the weekend off with some art at a textile exhibit at the Petaluma Arts Center. “Weavers: Contemporary Expressions of an Ancient Craft” showcases clothing, costumes and other textiles. If you come on Saturday, stay for a class 1-4pm. Must pre-register. 230 Lakeville St.

On Saturday, head to the Petaluma Municipal Airport for the free monthly antique and classic aircraft show. 9am-3pm. 601 Sky Ranch Drive.

On Sunday go with the flow and join Clavey Paddlesports on a tour of Tomales Bay. Use the shop’s kayaks or bring your own, but don't miss out on a great day on Tomales Bay. Tour meets at the Miller Boat Launch on Tomales Bay- Hwy. 1 Marshall, CA. $90. 9am.

If you prefer to stay on land, check out The Queen of Boogie Woogie Wendy DeWitt at Rancho Nicasio on Sunday. Blues piano and vocals. No cover. Starts at 4pm. On the town square in Nicasio.

Parks and Recreation has a huge variety of summer camps. Kids Klub (1st-5th grade) and Camp K2Read More (6th-8th grade) are both traditional summer day camps with 1/2 day, daily and weekly options.
