Discover the 'Symphony of the Soil' Film in Petaluma

The Petaluma Grange and The Seed Bank will host the screening of Symphony of the Soil on Thursday, Feb. 13 in Petaluma.

Directed by Deborah Koons Garcia, Symphony of the Soil is said to explore the complexity and mystery of soil. It was filmed on four continents and features “some of the world’s most highly esteemed soil scientists, farmers, and activists.”

“The film portrays soil as a protagonist of our planetary story. In a skillful mix of art and science, soil is revealed to be a living organism, the foundation of life on earth.”

After the film screening, guests can pose questions to Paul Kaiser, who was featured in the film. He will discuss no-till farming.

The film starts at 7 p.m. and will screen at the Petaluma Seed Bank, 199 Petaluma Blvd. N., Petaluma, CA.
