Artist Reception - Sara Bell @ Viva Cocolat

Meet and mingle with local artist, Sara Bell, and enjoy her current art show, "A Year On The Ranch" at an Artist Reception, during Petaluma's Second Saturday Art Walk, April 14, 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

Enjoy Sara's depiction of life on a cattle ranch with realistic drawings and bold, abstract silkscreen images inspired by the landscape around her, old fences, animals and Sara’s children.



During a year spent living on a cattle ranch in Lakeville, CA, Sara Bell became fascinated by the landscape around her. There were many fascinating old fences, animals and Sara’s children. Thus she was inspired to create a series of images combining sensitive, realistic drawings and bold, abstract silkscreen images. The combination of techniques and emotional moments combine in Sara’s work to capture a unique vision of life on a ranch.

Sara is a mother of two young children and life long artist. As a child, Sara’s mother observed that drawing was the only thing that would calm her down. This eventually led to a lifelong passion for drawing, painting and printmaking. She hopes to pass this on to both her children and the world.
