Slide Presentation and Book Signing with historian Dewey Livingston on the Development of Agriculture and Mariculture in the Point Reyes area.

Dewey Livingston is the curator of the Jack Mason Museum of West Marin History at Inverness. He has been researching and writing about Point Reyes fro more than twenty-five years. Livingston, author of five books of West Marin history, collaborated with photographer Evvy Eisen, lending aid in her photographic chronicle of the Drakes Bay Oyster Company, now on exhibit at the Petaluma Arts Center. Several of Livingston's books will be available and signed at his presentation at the Petaluma Arts Center. Also showing will be a slide presentation by Kevin and Nancy Lunny, of Drakes Bay Oyster Farm: "Mariculture 101: How to Grow an Oyster."
