Background:
Around three months ago, out in the country-side of Petaluma, archaeologists unearthed something startling and significant. Word and rumor spread ramp idly about the discovery, and the City of Petaluma decided it best to hold a “Press Conference” to openly reveal the findings to the good people of Petaluma.
Meanwhile, strange beings (stranger than usual) have been showing up in the Petaluma area. Although it is not initially known by the earthlings, Petaluma was chosen to be a convergence point for an upcoming gathering of beings (“aliens”) from other galaxies. They are traveling to Petaluma through the use of “jump gates” that take them from their worlds to ours. It may be no coincidence, this alien gathering turns out to be at the same time and place as the scheduled archaeological press conference.
The Show:
“Through The Wormhole” is a multi-faceted event starting with the outdoor Bizarre-Bazaar featuring many shades of earthlings and aliens. Often, you will not know the difference between our foreign friends and your Petaluma neighbors.
The Bizarre-Bazaar will go from 5:00 to 6:45pm, and then from 7 to 10:00pm, the “Press Conference” and other theatrical bits will be woven around performances by three different bands including:
*D’ Bunchovus
*Wild Alien Thing
*Maury Manseau & Cheri Buonaguidi
As the crowd gathers, so does the growing anticipation of what is to be revealed at the 7pm “Press Conference”. In the meantime, attendees will enjoy delicious treats provided by various food vendors, silent auction opportunities, and some bizarre and magical forms of entertainment.

The Phoenix Free Teen Health Clinic
Since 2004, The Phoenix Free Teen Health Clinic has provided essential healthcare to teens through their medical clinic. Located inside the Phoenix Theater, and staffed by a Nurse Practitioner who is supported by mentored teen assistants, the clinic provides free medical exams to over two dozen teens per week.
“Through The Wormhole” will help provide funds for much needed supplies, and 100% of the proceeds from our event will be donated to the clinic.
