Start your weekend off right by enjoying free live music at Theater Square on Friday beginning at 5:30pm. Each week, a new band takes center stage as you sit by the fountain or grab a cool drink on the Tres Hombres patio.
Later that evening head down to local photographer Murray Rockowitz’s studio at 128 Petaluma Blvd. North for a performance of the Petaluma Readers’ Theater.
With no stage, costumes or props, Readers' Theater forces the viewer to experience the literature through their own imagination. The night's theme is joy and regret, when a decision to act or not act impacted the rest of our lives. A one-of-a-kind literary experience. Tickets $12. Starts at 8pm.
On Saturday, Aqus Community is hosting its Foundry Festival, featuring bands, food and booths starting at 11am. $15 for general admission/children free. All proceeds benefit COTS, which offers homeless services.
