Saturday:

Paws in the Park is a fun-filled day for you and your dog. The event, sponsored by Unleashed and Friends of the Petaluma Animal Shelter includes contests for Best Kisser, Best Tail Wagger, Best Trick, Bobbing for Hot Dogs and Treat Toss.  There will be an Agility Course, “Caticaturist,” photographer and  vendors. Bag lunches are available for sale.

If you go: The cost is $10 per dog in advance and $15 per dog at the door. Raffle tickets will be for sale with drawings throughout the afternoon.  For tickets and information call Stephanie at Our Best Friends (707) 763-6560. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McNear Park, 1008 G St. in Petaluma.

Saturday:

Rock the Mystic with Northern California's hottest Beatles band, Beatles Flashback!  Live performances by A Cappella Rockstars, Lovenotes, International Medalists, quartet d'Vine, and your hosts, The Pacific Empire Chorus.

If you go: Tickets are $25 and can bought be clicking here. The show starts at 7 p.m. at the , 23 PetalumaBlvd. N, in Petaluma.

Saturday:

If the skies are clear, Len Nelson, President of the Sonoma County Astronomical Society will host Evening Star Viewing through telescopes at the Petaluma Museum throughout the . Bring your telescope (if you have one) and view the night skies. Great for children!  Dress warmly.

If you go: The gazing is from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Meet in the parking lot at 24 4th Street, the corner of 4th and B Streets, adjacent to the on the southwest corner.

Sunday:

Come over at the in Petaluma for an exclusive, pre-movie chat with “Judy Moody” creator and screenwriter Megan McDonald. After the movie, everyone is invited to for a Red Carpet Celebration. There will be games, raffles, food, fun prizes, and great surprises.  Dress in your gala-est clothes for this fabulous, Hollywood-style celebration!

If you go: Tickets for the 11:00 a.m. show can be at Boulevard Cinemas, 200 C Street in Petaluma while quantities last.
