Weekend Planner

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Here are a couple of ideas to get you started

1. FESTRYVAL 

Where/When: Restaurant and Tasting Room, 205 Kentucky St., Petaluma, Sunday,  from 12pm till the beer runs out.

Why Go: This inaugural festival celebrates rye and 15 taps of rye infused beers will be flowing from noon until it runs out. At 4pm the judges announce the winners.

2. FOR THE LOVE OF ART

Where/When: Various locations in downtown Petaluma, Saturday 6pm

Why Go: A dinner with food and wine at downtown Petaluma's  art galleries, with all proceeds benefitting Petaluma City Ballet. Finish the night dancing at the . Don't forget to bid on the auction of pointe shoes.

3. SONS OF ITALY CRAB FEED

Where/When: Petaluma , 1094 Petaluma Blvd., Saturday, 6pm

Why Go: Two words. Crab. Feed.  But I have to tell you there’s pasta, salad, rolls and wine as well. So there.

Pricing: $35

4. IN THE MOOD
Where/When: Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa, 2:30pm and 7:30pm

Why Go: Because there’s something about 40’s swing & big band music that’ll  get your foot taping and put a smile on your face. What a great way to start the weekend.   

Pricing: $34.50-$49.50

Where/When: 151 Petaluma Blvd., , Sunday-Monday

Why Go: The Putnam Plaza wine bar will feature special romantic movies and tapas and wine pairings.
