Friday: An Evening with David Wilcox

Folk/singer-songwriter David Wilcox has been touching the hearts of audiences for more than 20 years with his wise and healing song writing, skillful guitar playing, and inspired improvisational performance style. See him on Friday at the Mystic Theatre, 23 Petaluma Blvd. at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7).Tickets are $21 and can be purchased here.

Saturday:
Barn Dance

Green String Farm (3571 Old Adobe Rd) in Petaluma will be the site of an old-fashioned barn dance to Benefit Heifer International from 5 to 9 p.m. The dancing, including English Country, Contra, Line and Waltzes, will be explained by a caller and is simple and will be easy to learn. Tickets are $25.

Honoring the Good Egg

Come kick off the annual Butter and Eggs Day Parade this Saturday with a presentation of the Good Egg award at noon at the Petaluma Historical Museum. This year, the award will be given to Christopher Stevick, the managing director of the Trolley Museum and a committed advocate of Petaluma's rich history. 

Sunday: 7th Annual Petaluma Footrace 

Join hundreds of runners and walkers from Sonoma County and the Bay Area for the 7th running of the Petaluma Footrace on Sunday, April 10, 9-11:30 p.m.. The race features a scenic course through Petaluma's Alman Marsh, along the Petaluma River, with a loop around Shollenberger Park. All proceeds from the event benefit education in Petaluma through the Adobe Schools Kids Foundation.
