Here are a couple of ideas to get you started

Friday:

Tonight's film in the Movies in the Park series is the wonderfully animated and clever "Despicable Me." In addition to the free movie, there will be musical guests, which this week is the Sofa Kings.

There are also children's activities, BBQ, snacks and raffle prizes (buy a raffle ticket or two and know that all proceeds benefit local programs in Petaluma. If you go: The fun goes on between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Bring your blankets, you low chairs and join us at , 320 N. McDowell Blv., in Petaluma.

Saturday:

staff, eesidents and Board of Directors are having a flea market at the PEP corporate offices on Saturday. Household goods, electronics, furniture and more.  Something for everyone, don't miss it!

Saturday:

Come join the landowner and his ranch manager, Scott Gerber, aka "the singing cowboy" for a great day and learn about managed grazing techniques and land stewardship on the Scott Ranch/Stony Butte Vineyards. Cowboy Scott will round up the cattle with his working border collies.

We'll walk the property, enjoy vistas, and "talk story." Lunch in the oak woodland. Protected by Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District in 2002 for scenic quality and view shed along Adobe Road, this ranch is part of the greenbelt assemblage. Sunday: Cruise In at Fourth & Sea Restaurant
The cruise in is a casual and homegrown car show featuring live music, classic food, and free raffle prizes from local businesses such as the Petaluma Outlet Mall, Haus Fortuna, The Kidz Swap Store, and Windy Hill Winery.
