If you go: Meet at the Farmer’s Wife Barntique at 5:30 sharp to get a free pass.  The Adobe Pumpkin Farm is at 2478 E Washington Street.

Saturday: 

Enjoy the rancho with the Alta California Dance Company as they perform and teach the celebration dances of the 1840's.  There will also be children’s games and refreshments. Come and learn the dances at the historic Petaluma Adobe and support this state park, which is facing closure by July 2012.

If you go: Admission is $3.00 for Adults 17 and older, $2.00 for ages 6 to 16. The event is from noon to 4 p.m. at , 3325 Old Adobe Road in Petaluma. This is the last year for this event due to the impending park closure in 2012.

Saturday:

Rip City Riders' end of the season ride is their biggest event with proceeds benefiting Zero Breast Cancer and . After the ride, get ready for live music by Tommy Castro, a ride-in bike show, car show, a rockin' and an awesome raffle. Want your chance to win a 2011 Harley Davidson Road Glide? Raffle tickets are only $5. What a deal!

If you go: A $20 donation includes the run, poker hand and barbecue.  Sign in is between 8- 10:30 a.m., beginning at Michael’s Harley Davidson, 7601 Redwood Drive in Cotati and ending at the , 175 Fairgrounds Drive in Petaluma where the rest of the fun is served up from 11 :30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday:

This annual benefit features a performance by Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Sheena Easton, great food open bar 5- 6 p.m., wine tasting, dancing, casino games, a live and silent suction and more! The benefit supports Petaluma families with children who have catastrophic illnesses.

If you go: Tickets are $75, and can be bought by clicking here. The fun begins at 5 p.m. at the , 1094 Petaluma Blvd. South. Attire is black-tie optional.

Saturday:

Bring the whole family to the Fall Festival!  There will be games, prizes, jumpees, and much more!  Fun for everyone.

If you go: The festival is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Adobe Elementary School, 2856 Old Adobe Road in Petaluma.

Get up close and personal with organic vegetable and meat production in Petaluma.  Inspired by Michael Pollen's "The Omnivore's Dilemma," Tara Smith started and Community Supported Agriculture program. The farm is protected forever through a conservation easement from the District. Tour the farm to look at veggies, pigs, chickens, goats and more - with an optional picnic by the pond.

Sunday:

The Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department hosts its annual pancake breakfast and raffle today. Breakfast includes pancakes, ham, eggs, juice, milk and coffee. Come support this all volunteer fire department at their annual breakfast and raffle!

If you go: Breakfast is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-10 and free for kids 3 and under.  The breakfast is from 8 a.m. to noon at the Elks Lodge Hall, 2105 S. McDowell Boulevard Ext., in Petaluma.
