What Would You Like to See Happen to the Occupy Movement?

Activists around the country are occupying city parks, but it remains unclear what change, if any, their actions will result in.

It's been more than three weeks since a group of people began "occupying" Penry Park in Petaluma, modeled on similar Occupy movements elsewhere in the country. But participants are still working out what exactly they want to accomplish, for which they have often been criticized.

What do you think of Occupy Petaluma? Are you glad local residents are participating in the national movement or do you think it's a waste of time?

And if you're a supporter, what would you like to see happen locally or nationally? Some of the ideas that have been floated are teach-ins to educate more people about the issues of campaign finance and bank regulation that would lead to new laws being written and even a new political party that would offer an alternative to voters.
