30 Minutes, Zero Cents for a Full Charge

Electric vehicle owners can now charge their cars at Auto Plaza

 

Attention electric vehicle owners.

North Bay Nissan at Petaluma’s Auto Plaza has the city’s first DC Fast Charger that can charge any electrical vehicle in just 30 minutes.

Other chargers are available around Sonoma County, but this is the first one that's available 24 hours a day and is absolutely free.

“It’s a nice feature for commuters,” said Ron Coury, director of e-commerce at North Bay Nissan, located at 1250 Auto Center Drive.

In an effort to encourage fuel efficient vehicles, a second DC Fast Charging station will be installed in at the rail depot next to the Petaluma Visitors Center over the next month.

Meanwhile, Coury said that the Nissan Leaf, the company's all electric vehicle, has completely sold out. The dealership is now awaiting a new shipment, due to arrive in February.
