Carmina Salcido's Story of Survival and More This Weekend

Carmina Salcido's father murdered his wife, his wife's family and slashed the throats of his three children 22 years ago near Petaluma. Carmina, then 3, survived the attack. She returns Sunday to in Petaluma with copies of her book, "."

--- Try out mole, the tasty Mexican dish made of chocolate and chile, and help raise money for the at the same time. The mole tasting is from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the center and costs $15. Mariachi music included.

Parks and Recreation has a huge variety of summer camps. Kids Klub (1st-5th grade) and Camp K2Read More (6th-8th grade) are both traditional summer day camps with 1/2 day, daily and weekly options.
