Petaluma Sheraton Workers, Management Ready to Break Bread

The two sides will celebrate the signing of a new contract.

After more than two years of tough negotiations, Petaluma Sheraton Hotel workers and management will go from the bargaining table to the dance floor.

The two sides will celebrate the signing of a new contract at the hotel on Thursday night.

The new contract calls for wage hikes, improved benefits and better job security and protections for immigrant workers, union representatives said.

The Local 2850 represents more than 100 Petaluma Sheraton workers.

Congressman Jared Huffman and Petaluma Mayor David Glass will join the 5:30 to 7 p.m. celebration.
