National Hot Breakfast Month

February is National Hot Breakfast Month and The Plaza North has all you need to get that very important first meal of the day.

Any nutritionist will tell you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is the first meal after the long night's sleep and it's an opportunity to refuel and recharge. Food is important for the development and maintenance of our bodies and brains - plus the day just goes better on a full stomach.

Eating a good breakfast might even help with weight control, as the body prefers getting food regularly instead of skipping meals and then overly bulking up the next time you eat or nibbling on high calorie snacks to keep from being hungry all morning.

As it turns out, February is National Hot Breakfast Month. It's appropriate since February is usually cold. What a better way to get warm than to have some hot food first thing in the morning?

Often that's easier said than done. However, just because you find yourself on the run doesn't mean that you should skip breakfast.

Here at The Plaza North we have plenty of places to stop and get your hot breakfast.

Starbucks is a great place to stop for breakfast. Their hot breakfast menu includes sandwiches, wraps, and oatmeal. As an extra added bonus, you can enjoy your hot breakfast in the Starbucks fireplace lounge at The Plaza North. Starbucks is located a 205 N. McDowell Blvd, Petaluma. Phone (707) 763-2741

Don Pancho's Mexican Restaurant serves Huevos Rancheros and other tasty Mexican delights at their restaurant, located at 285 North McDowell Boulevard. Phone: (707) 775-2474.
