Royal Tan and Spa

Royal Tan and Spa offers a wide range of treatments for whole body wellness and beauty, including body wraps, LED Lumiere Light Therapy, massage and different types of tanning options.

Relaxation begins the moment you step into Royal Tan and Spa's lobby. The oversized animal print sofa, deep red walls and helpful staff create the perfect atmosphere for your total spa treatment. Royal Tan and Spa is a full service spa and solarium featuring beauty and health treatments including custom airbrush and Mystic sunless tanning, UV therapy tanning, massage, facials, waxing, Formostar Infrared Body Wraps and Lumiere LED light facial treatments.

Although the typical assessment of a solarium is that it's a place to bronze skin, owner Angie Maroevich explains that "people use tanning beds for all sorts of reasons - we have customers who find that the warmth of the tanning beds relieve arthritis pain and back pain. Lying peacefully in a warm tanning bed can also be a wonderful twenty minute vacation in the middle of a long and busy day."

Tanning isn't just for summer. During winter there is less sun exposure, so indoor tanning can provide needed levels of Vitamin D (many doctors are now recommending it) or any time of year for that matter if you aren't getting outside enough. The light and warmth of a tanning bed can also alleviate Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and raise endorphins.

If you need to get rid of tan lines by tonight, Royal Tan and Spa offers the full body Custom Airbrush or Mystic Sunless Spray Tan. They can even come to you and airbrush you in the privacy of your own home.

In addition to Royal Tan and Spa being your go-to tanning experts, they also offer a full suite of spa services. Royal Tan and Spa is the only spa in Sonoma County which offers the exclusive Formostar Infrared Body Wrap System. Unlike other body wraps which only target water weight, the Formostar Body Wrap targets fat and breaks it down for later elimination by the body. There are no messy creams or gels and no undressing. One wrap session lasts 60 minutes.

Lumiere LED Light Therapy is also offered at Royal Tan and Spa. This painless, proven 20 minute skin treatment reduces fine lines, evens out skin firmness and tone, and treats acne better than any other treatment or remedy on the market.  And it's all done with medical grade LED light.

Other spa services include full body waxing (including Brazilian and bikini), anti aging and acne facials and a full range of massage treatments, including Hot Stone and Deep Tissue.

Owners Brian and Angie Maroevich got into the spa business in 2004.  Angie said "we were looking for a business that would be fun and that would help us help others feel good about themselves by providing the elements of beauty, health and well-being. When people take time out for themselves for body care, and when they feel that they are looking their best, they are at their best and full of confidence. That's we believe in delivering here at Royal Tan and Spa."

If you were ever interested in trying out any of these spa services now is the time to check it out. Royal Tan and Spa offers a range of membership plans with very generous terms. Club memberships begin at $19.95 a month and include unlimited UV tanning and one free Formostar body wrap and Lumiere treatment per month, plus 20% off all products and services. At the top of the scale, VIP Club memberships are $99 per month and include UV tanning, body wraps, Mystic tan sessions, and Lumiere treatments plus 30% off all other product and service purchases. There are a range of membership options between VIP and basic. Choose the one that fits your budget and your needs.

Just like they question the science of climate change, the right-wingers funding the Drakes BayRead More Oyster Farm's effort to break their deal with the National Park Service now are questioning the peer-reviewed science that led to the decision to end the marine slime and plastic pollution from the corporation's operation. And hate to break it to the author, but Cause of Action is a right-wing funded legal (tax exempt of course) group that takes on conservative causes, such as this effort to overturn the Obama Administration's correct decision to enforce the deal the Lunny's made.
