First Real Rain of Season Means Slippery Roads

Petaluma received 1 inch of rainfall overnight

Rain is forecast to spread through the Bay Area Monday, with the possibility of further off-and-on showers through Wednesday.

Because of the heavy rain, long-accumulated oils in the pavement will start to leach out and cause slippery roadways, the NWS said.
