Flash Flood, High Wind Warning in Effect for City of Petaluma

Police remind drivers to not attempt to drive through flooded areas

 

Petaluma emergency responders are warning drivers to be careful on the roads as rain continues to barrel down on the North Bay for the third day in a row.

A wind advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday and isolated thunderstorms are likely. The city has also issued a flash flood warning and said that flooding is highly possible, especially around Auto Row.

Police remind people to not attempt to drive or wade through flooded areas. Temperatures will range from high 40s to low 50s. The rain is expected to stop by Monday morning.
