Petaluma Health Center offering seasonal and H1N1 vaccinations all day.

If you don't have insurance, head on over to the today for donation-based flu shots.

The clinic is offering vaccines both seasonal and H1N1 flu from 9am-noon and again at 2-4:30pm. No appointment is necessary.

The vaccines are recommended for children over six months old, pregnant women and people with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes and asthma. It is also recommended for people who have contact with children.

"The flu hasn't really hit yet," said Dr. Nurit Licht, the center's medical director. "The H1N1 is still out there although it's not like last year. People have more immunity built up now. But we've already seen lots of sick kids and adults with nasty flu symptoms."
