Gang Probation And Parole Sweep Results In Multiple Arrests

Five suspects were arrested under suspicion of various violations of their probation or parole requirements.

The Petaluma Gang Enforcement Team, with the assistance from Sonoma County Probation and Parole, conducted searches of 15 homes, throughout the city of Petaluma, which resulted in the arrest of five suspects.

The sweep took place on Thursday, June 27 and focused on subjects who are gang members and those on probation or parole within the city of Petaluma.

Five adult men, Jose Martinez, 34, Andres Martinez, 22, Christopher Chesler, 38, Dionisio Martinez, 29, and Jacob Elliot, 19, were arrested under suspicion of various violations.

Those violations include possession of a deadly weapon, possession of gang paraphernalia, possession of prescription medications without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation/parole and one of the subjects had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Three of the subjects were transferred to the Sonoma County Jail and booked for various charges. Dionisio Martinez and Jacob Elliot were cited and released in the field with a court date.
