This year, the fair’s theme is “Dog Days of Summer,” a nod to the 25th anniversary of the Ugliest Dog Contest. What began as a very casual event held at the annual Old Adobe Festival has become world-renowned, drawing journalists and visitors from all over the world. This year, the contest will be held Friday at 6pm.
