Police arrested a 32-year-old man who they allege struck three parked cars, then drove through a brick retaining wall of an apartment complex on F Street. After police responded the man tried to flee, but was quickly apprehended.
Elijah Namajanja, 32, was arrested 11:30pm Wednesday and charged with driving under the influence, hit and run and evading police. Police also say Namajanja was driving on a suspended license.
The incident occurred at 619 F Street after Namajanja hit the cars, then collided with a parking structure. No one was injured in the collision. Structural damage was limited mostly to the retaining wall, and evacuations were not required.
