It's Tequila Time!

1. Is it true the Beatles contributed to the fall of the USSR? How does art change the world and change the human condition? Gretchen Giles talks about "Changing the World" from 7 to 9 p.m. at the , 230 Lakeville St. This is some cool stuff. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

2. Did you know Patch.com is teaming up with Redwood Empire Food Bank to raise money for needy families? Karina Ioffee, editor of Petaluma Patch, will be at Aqus, 189 H. St. from 9 to 1:30 p.m., accepting monetary donations. Come by to say hello and donate to a great cause. The fund-raising drive is part of Patch.com's Give 5 initiative — the company's way of giving back to communities it serves and involves five days during which employees donate their time to various volunteer efforts.

3.  Meet with other model car builders at from 7 to 9 p.m. The store is at 171 N. McDowell Blvd. While you are there pick up some Christmas gifts that offer children and adults a creative outlet.

4.  T-E-Q-U-I-L-A! Yes, there is tequila tasting at at Theater Square tonight at 6:30. For $40, get a four-course meal with each dish paired with a different tequila including: Silver, Respodo, Anejo and 1942.

5. Tequila too strong for you? Stock up on wine for seasonal parties at an artisan holiday wine tasting party at  from 6 to 9 p.m. where they will be pouring wines from local wineries, many perfect for holiday gatherings. It is $15 for tasting and appetizers, with the cost refunded with a two-bottle purchase of featured wines.
