This furlough allows the library system to not lay off any staff. So if you need some reading material, it is time to go to the bookstore.

McDowell Blvd. and open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is a wide selection of used and new paperback books with every genre from mystery to romance and offers you a chance to trade in your old books for some new ones. It is fun to peruse the store's ever-changing selection of reading material.

3. has a Wartime Christmas exhibit on how people in the service celebrate the holidays. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and may be helpful to those whose loved ones are serving overseas.
