1. Today is the last day to see “Woody Guthrie’s American Song" at . There is a matinee at 2 p.m. at the theater at 3333 Petaluma Blvd. N. Tickets are $35 at the door or $32 for seniors. For info, call 707-763-8920.

2. Love the cowardly lion, the tin man, the scarecrow, Dorothy, and Toto too? Enjoy a special showing of the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz at La Dolce Vita Wine Lounge at Theater Square at 151 Petaluma Blvd. S. Pair it with a glass of wine, some great food and free popcorn.

3. Feel too grownup for Dorothy and the gang? The Petaluma Film Series presents A Simple Question: The Story of STRAW at 7 p.m. at Aqus Café, 189 H St.  The film chronicles students’ efforts to save an endangered species. A $4 donation is requested. For more info, call 707-765-0888.

4. My friends the Courtney Janes from Novato are back at today performing original acoustic folk and bluegrass tunes as well as some songs you will be sure to recognize.  The brewery is at 1280 N. McDowell Blvd. This place is kid-friendly and has some great sandwiches.

5. has a multimedia exhibit called “Earth, Wind and Fire.” Hey wasn’t that a '70s music group? Located at 209 Western Ave., gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. The phone number is 707-778-8277.
