Road Work on Lakeville Highway Over Next 2 Months

Crews will remove 17 eucalyptus trees to prevent them from falling on motorists

 

Delays are expected on Lakeville Highway south of Petaluma as crews remove 17 eucalyptus trees, the Road Warrior blog is reporting.

Another 70 eucalyptus trees will be pruned to prevent branches falling on passing motorists.

Work is scheduled to start today and continue through March 25, give or take some, depending on the weather. The work will be done from Old Lakeville Road No. 1 to Old Lakeville Road No. 3. 

Crews will be on site Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
