Top Ten Places to Watch a Sunset

One free way to have a romantic V Day is to watch the sunset with your loved one. Here are some ideas

1.  Shollenberger Park - Take in the sights of the setting sky amidst lively and lush wetlands.

2. Bodega Bay – Make a trip of sunset-watching out to the beach and try to catch sight of some whales too.

3. Dillon Beach – Soundtracked by waves, and often rather tranquil by the late afternoon, sitting back on the sand is how sunsets were meant to be watched.

5. Stafford Lake (Novato) – There’s a reason the summer sunset parties take place at Stafford Lake. These Marin versions of Burning Man may not be your thing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pack a picnic and have a sunset party of your own.
