“I see, react, engage, compose, and make an exposure, be it on film or pixels. As I carefully compose on the ground glass or make an exposure without looking through the viewfinder or screen, I do so by feel, I work intuitively. Working as a professional portraitist, Petaluma’s Murray Rockowitz has been serving clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond for 25 years. His works reside in personal and corporate collections throughout the world. He has been making photographs with serious intent and passion since 1977.
