Maxfield Bala is a 20 year old fine artist from Petaluma, California.
His artistic range includes a vast array of mediums
including fine line illustration, sculpture, acrylic painting and large
scale mural work. With recent features at the Coachella Music Festival,
Zox wristbands, Wynwood Miami and X-Games Los Angeles, Maxfield's work
has been on the rise this past year. On a more local note his Petaluma
mural completed only this past June, now graces Petaluma's Water Street
just off East Washington. Finding his way into gallery shows, Heebe
Jeebe's The Back House Gallery will be the setting for Bala's first
solo show "Natives". Inspired by a fascination for character ideation
and World culture "Natives" features a wide array of tribal aspects.
Known for his high detail and bold color pallet, Maxfield's "Natives"
solo show opening July 12 promises an exhibit to remember.
