Documenting our lives like never before, cell phone photography is a part of modern living. What was once a heated discussion over the capability, viability, credibility of the camera phone among photographers, many users have now embraced and even celebrated the technology of the all-in-one, multi-media lifestyle.
Smart phones are today's newest medium in art and have transformed how we look at contemporary life in an important way - they are accessible to all. This exhibition hopes to capture the amazing images of amateurs and professionals who snap with a mobile device.
Jurors: Stephanie Rausser is an advertising and editorial photographer based in Sonoma County. She sees the world for all its beauty and humor and loves making it a little more fun, pretty, and inviting. When Stephanie is not on assignment her iPhone is her camera of choice. You can see more of her work on Instagram and on her website: www.stephanierausser.com
