Community Corner

Community Nonprofit Day at Petaluma Farmers' Market

TODAY IS A SPECIAL EVENT DAY...THE FIRST ANNUAL COMMUNITY NONPROFIT DAY!

Come out and see the diversity of nonprofits in our community. Each will have a table set up to share what they do and how you can get involved. Whether your passion be with children, animals, people with disabilities or even Star Wars there is bound to be a nonprofit here that will resonate with you. Our hope is that everyone in the community will find at least one nonprofit that they can plug into whether it by through volunteering for supporting through donations.

We are SO blessed to have these great nonprofits in Petaluma, now we have the opportunity to give back...

Here are some of the nonprofits that will be part of this special event:

Visitors to the Petaluma Farmers’ Markets will enjoy the bounty of Sonoma County produce and find a wealth of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants, fresh baked goods, cheeses, ethnic foods, and hot food to enjoy at the market.

In addition to the bountiful food and produce, every market day also features live musical entertainment, face painting, a balloon artist, a jumping house and pony rides.

There is a great selection of unusual and interesting handmade arts & crafts available at each market. The Farmers’ Markets are great places to have a fun family outing located in two different locations on two different days of the week in Historic Downtown Petaluma.

Musical entertainment provided by Later Dayz

The Petaluma Farmers' Markets now accept the EBT/Cal-fresh benefits cards. This program at the Market has been made possible by The Petaluma Mother's Club.
